Our Comparison Terms™ do exactly that. Each card is designed to help students connect important comparison vocabulary with clear visual examples. Terms like smaller than, different from, and compare can be difficult for students to understand through words alone. These cards give a visual reference that makes the meaning easier to see, discuss, and remember.
Display one term each day and discuss it briefly, compare and contrast two different terms, use the cards during math lessons, or post them all on the wall so students can refer to them throughout the year. Ask students to find examples in the classroom, compare objects, or explain how two things would compare based on the card. The possibilities are endless, and they fit easily into any schedule!
